Colnago's new bottom bracket is 82.5 wide and according to their website compatible with any 386 pressfit cups. Can I use any O.D. 42mm cups such as Specialized pressfit cups to work with a pair of clavicula's. Also with this setup would I need the 1mm washer on non drive side ?

The addition of two Colnago Thread Fit cups turns the 82.5mm BB into a BB86 (86.5x41) bottom bracket.

My mistake meant 46mm OD cups (8606, 30 x 42 bearing for 30 mm clavicula axle. Cannot be 86.5 x 41 or a 30mm axle would not fit. Basically I have a set of Italian cups and BSA cups and ceramic bearings already. Would like to just press the ceramic bearings into the empty cups. Most of the cups I see to purchase already have the bearings in them and don't need any more. I can get a set of empty 46mm specialized cups but will they work ?

No they won't work. Spesh carbon OSBB delrin cups will position BB30 bearings too far outboard.

The bottom bracket is too small physically to accept 46mm cups

Rotor do a conversion bottom bracket to allow a 30mm axle to fit a BB86 bottom bracket (Pressfit 4130).

There's a difference of opinion on the forum of the longevity of the smaller diameter bearings......
