I'm looking into lighter junior gearing options, and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with miche cassettes. More specifically, their supertype range. It certainly looks fancy, but how does it preform, and what is the weight? Contacting them is not very easy, so i thought i would check the WW community.
From looking at the listings on WW, the 9speed miche stuff was a fair bit lighter than the 9speed dura-ace, so I would hope the trend continued into 10speed...

Take a look at the 11 speed junior gear thread.

For the (almost) all alu Supertype  ??

:x ... I was about to order two of them.
But at $250. a piece, I might find somewhere else to lose 60-80 g on the bike...
Or look at other options (KCNC, Omni, Recon, )...

14-27T @ 250g is the standard primato cassette. My 12-25T 11 speed CA cassette is 132g (supertype), yet to run it but Miche claim it will do 3000+ miles in dryish conditions. They are expensive though. I do have contact details for miche as I deal with them regularly.

I highly doubt the Primato 14-27 is 250g. I have a 16-25 and it's more than 350g.

The "Made in Italy" markings always add 15-20% +in weight, that's a known fact ;)
