Hello

I´m looking for a durable, light, and cheep adapter for BB386 to Shimano´s press fit bottom bracket. I´m going to use a Rotor 3D24 crank (uses standard Shimano BB) on the frame.

You need to be more specific about which bottom bracket you have. Shimano's PF bracket you mention does not fit BB386...its 41mm OD, not 46mm OD.
BB386 is basically a wide BB shell version of PF30 which is a 46mm ID shell.
To adapt a 24mm OD crank to PF30 bearings, Wheel Mfg sells adapters to accommodate a 24mm OD crank like Rotor and DA.

Guys, I have this on my Cannondale EVO and works seamlessly. You may need to be careful not to over-tighten your crankarm nut so as not to cause any rubbing. Once installed your Shimano cranksets will run beautifully.

You're running the BB386 conversion cups in your PF30 EVO?

Crankarm nut? Sorry but what you write isn't even relevant. Over tighten? What torque? What crank?

The Rotor 4624 Evo BB is a good bet. And it doesn't creak ;-)

Yes, like Mario says, Rotor 4624. It is not light at 144g weighted. You also got the Praxis version which is not bad at all. Had that on my previous frame.
Rotor works great and Praxis did to.

Yes, Rotor and Praxis 24mm ID BB's works fine with BBright. But so does stock BBright 30mm ID BB with Wheel Mfg spacers.
FWIW, Cervelo spec's Loctite for BBright which many don't use. That is why they squeak...not because of using spacers on a Rotor or DA 24mm spindle OD.

Did i miss something?
Who says it is BB right?
I don't use that, i talk of PF30 BB's and frames.
For that application, Both Rotor and Praxis works great.
No issues at all.

Sorry wheelsONfire...I made a false reference to BBright but my message stands. There is nothing really special about Rotor or even Praxis BB's for BB386 is the point. Yes they work fine as you say. Ten's of thousands of wheel mfg spacer sets out there including supplied from major bike companies to convert PF30....BB386 is simply a wide shell PF30.....to 24mm spindle cranks.
