I have a set of Rotor Rings and have used for a couple of years but would like a more ovalized QXL 36T inner ring as I think it would work well for climbing. Have others used the QXL rings and what is your feedback. Thanks

I think there aren't much people that have used QXL for a long time. Your best options is to follow what Rotors suggest - Q-Rings for beginners, QXL rings for long time oval ring users.

I have had QXL rings for over a year on my second set already. We got them I think before normal release like winter 2013. Before these I rode regular Q rings.

Put it this way - they are better than regular Qs and the adapt time was almost nothing. I used at both OCP 3 and 4 and both work great. 4 if you ride on the rivet /TT a lot, 3 for normal road pos. You get out front out of saddle and it feels you can crush a bigger gear with ease. It feels good like a meat grinder!
