I measured my RCA with the same included bits as stated in the white paper and it came in 10 grams less than the median in the white paper table. Mine is a 56.

Tour magazine has a special, super-tech, super-expensive scale which adds 50 grams to all non-German frames. But the investment pays off in increased ad revenue.

Anyway, I'll cut the customs on that plot some slack, especially Corratec who says "from 680 grams...". They can build for stiffness and size. Trek, Focus, and Cannondale are a combination of spec'ing a smaller frame and picking light frames from a lot, perhaps: they're all about the same amount over. Simplon is a mystery: under claimed? That's weird... maybe even suspicious.

That is super strange about the RCa weight. Even more surprising is that Cervelo did comment on why the test bike weighted more.
