Any idea when Starbike will start to receive stock and ship out orders?

Do you guys know when the entire group set (incl. cranks, etc.) will be available?

I wonder how Red etap will work out in the long run. Some says there are issues about reliability in Sram groupsets.

some say there are issues about reliability in [every single thing], few if any of these people have data on failure per operating time over a statistically meaningful sample size that was correctly installed, operated and maintained

if i were to comment based on my experience of sram red for over five years, i could say it never fails, but that'd be just as meaningless as someone saying it's unreliable because they had a failure

there certainly have been sram recalls, but there've also been shimano recalls, no one is perfect, stuff fails, errors are made

just installed the upgrade kit on my ultimate al slx (size m) - im 180cm and fits me well

easy install - front shifting takes time to set up - in installed the 'wedge' first off then had to remove and re align it now works fine

not quite as powerful as di2 front shift but I think that's maybe because the red front ring is more flexi -

I haven't weight it but its light enough for me !

novel use of rubber grommets - :)

bottom line - framset cost £600 ex canyon factory outlet - sram etap upgrade kit £1200 and wheels already bought - pro cycling on the cheap ?!
questions welcome

Anyone know if it's possible to use a blipbox with four blips and at the same time use shifters with another four blips connected - that would give 5 left and 5 right shift options, though I'm not sure where you'd put them all!

Sitting in deep dark Africa on the lookout to buy somewhere online. Alas.......nothing as far as the wires run. :noidea:
Local availability is still a mystery to all. :x

Interesting. Rose (a german bicycle brand) just announced that they already have a model built with ETAP and you can order it:
https://www.rosebikes.com/bike/rose-x-l ... aid:873406

The availability says they build it in 2 weeks.
I find it rather surprising, especially that none of the big brands came out with anything.
