I'm guessing it will work by using the falling edge of the button press instead of a timer. That is, it waits for you to release the button in order to determine the action giving you all the time in the world to press both in order to move the front ring.

Sad that Sram had the patent. This is why the already finsished and fully working 12 speed Tiso never was released. Still, it was finished at 2012.
Well, it had been superbly great to have another player at the market.
Anyone have any info on what they expect Sram electronic to cost?
Also wonder what happend to the Rotor groupset that was due to be exposed at Eurobike 2014!?

No wireless SRAM at Interbike in Vega$.
(At least not shown to the uncouth masses.)

This I want to see.
Not because I want SRAM, but because I want the other guys to follow suit. The little wiring that is the difference between wireless and wired shifting is not meaningful in performance (and indeed can be imagined to have some early teething problems) but is meaningful in creating a completely clean front end, which is aesthetically important.

But you still have the brake cables...
Any word on direct-mount brakes?
