Hello, I've been out of the loop for a few years, no longer working in the bike biz, but still riding and racing a bunch.
My Ridley Damocles is getting up there in years, and I'm thinking it would be pretty easy to shed a couple hundred grams. I would like to do so on a budget.
Any suggestions welcome! Any upstarts like Neo from a few years ago? Used, new, clearance, frames, completes??? I'm open to anything. Clearance Ridleys from Comp Cyclist seem to be winner so far.
One caveat, the Damocles fits me PERFECTLY. I ride an XS even though I am just under 5.8. I had a 50cm CAAD 10, loved it, it just didn't fit. So similar fit to the Damocles is a huge bonus.
Edit: and a search will turn up numerous threads
Sub-$1000 sub-900g Frames?

Is carbon lugged dead? Have modern monocoque frames usurped carbon lugged frames outside of just weight?
