Does anyone know exactly what's the difference between '14 and '15 frames? Giant has '15 Propel Advanced 2 (105 group) listed for $2,250, vs. $2,300 '14 Propel Advanced frameset alone. Is this mainly weird marketing stuff or is the '15 frame somehow a downgrade, or both?

And what's the difference between '15 Propel Advanced and Propel Advanced Pro? It looks like the new Pro is equivalent to the previous model year Advanced ($2,350 for the frameset). But I don't see any differences, except that Pro has the chainstay-integrated speed/cadence sensor (RideSense) and Advanced does not.

Pro bikes have carbon steer tubes vs non pro having alloy.

Pro bikes have a higher spec cockpit and parts group (NON DRIVE TRAIN PARTS). Pro defy models have hydraulic disc brakes vs cable.

Frames are all the same.

Aha! Yes, I see this now in the specs. '15 Advanced has "alloy/composite hybrid OverDrive steerer". '14 Advanced and '15 Advanced Pro have "full-composite OverDrive 2 steerer, integrated OverDrive2 sealed cartridge bearing headset".

just to add OD2 Steerer would require Giant or Easton OD2 stems.

The new Giant font is definitely a downgrade and has some uncanny similarities to the new Jagwire font, hmmm..

Since when does Easton make an OD2 stem? I thought it was only Giant, Ritchey, Syntace (they stopped), Pro (for the team) and Level Nine.

It looks really good in person. I should know it's in my living room right now

The overdrive steerer might be my favorite riding feature of the bike, makes it feel really solid and confident.

Zipp is now making an OD2 stem: http://zipp.com/stems/service-course-sl-os-stem/

I think it is the best looking of the OD2 stems.
