Hi guys,
Giant don't publish any fork data appart from rake, which are (apparently) both the same at 45.
I was wondering if there would be any differences in fork length between these two forks?
I'm asking because I replaced a cracked defy fork with a TCR fork, and the steering is much twitcher. I was wondering if that's in the head or if there's actually a difference in the two forks that would cause this.
For reference, I replaced a Defy Advanced fork with a TCR Composite fork.
Any Fork length differences in Giant TCR and Defy forks?

I can only assume here, but my defy advanced had more clearance than all my TCR's with regards to mudguards etc.
If the TCR fork is slightly shorter, it will have the effect of lowering the front end and effectivel steepening the head angle so may well be the reason why it feels twitchy..

Thanks buddy.
I don't have exact measurements, just assumptions.

Bump
to add to the list of observations it looks like toe overlap has increased - does this confirm that the forks are shorter?

Potentially yes, because the head tube would be lower and shortening the wheelbase, moving the wheel rearwards.
