So I was all set to buy a new Canyon Aeroad CF SLX and then this comes along.
Would be interested to see a built up version, cable routing, pricing and tech sheet on this one.
Any aero testing or is it a case of what looks right?

Argon is making lovely bikes. I love the simple looks and stunning paint jobs. This particular aero frame looks great, especially the front part looks stunning. What I dislike is the breaks. The Shimano direct mount seems like a better solution, but at least they havent put the rear break under the BB.
Looks purdy. Any info on weight?

Looks like a cross between the Giant Propel with the aero/tucked brakes in that position, and a S5/S3. Not loving the HT bearing cap/cover though, chunky.
Otherwise, not a bad looking rig.

I'd rather stick with the Fuji transonic if I were on that team. Better brakes and Fuji have been doing quite good things aerodynamically. Especially if Argon have based the road frame on their TT designs which are a benchmark of poor performance.
And the fact that they are named after an inert gas and then skip all over the table for their model names annoys me too.

Given what we know about cables impacting front end aero it seems to make more sense just to use a normal brake up front or some form of time trial shroud ala time, trek, or what have you ... While I think it's all a bit negligible to begin with I know an aero bike needs to be clean up front but the brake cable around the fork has always kind of annoyed me.
Good looking bike but my money is still with the new Canyon or ar1 for the 2015 aero games.

I wonder if Argon is trying to adapt its H3 headset system for this bike?
I know with my Gallium Pro, I can add 10, 20 or 30 mm spacers to the top of the headtube. Supposedly it allows Argon to offer a variety of headtube lengths with minimal stiffness loss. Anyway, the bearing cap could be one of those types of spacers, and it may be possible to go without that cover or a smaller or larger one.
And yeah, I think it's a decent looking bike.

Gorgeous looking frame. One of the few times I'd seriously consider going with the Canadian Red over the stealth black posted in that instagram shot above, but that cable management is a bit cluttered.
