I enjoy like a lot of you out there lightening a bike. There something about the process picking the correct parts for function and lightness.

I'm getting a pegoretti love #3 this week and wondering what the lightest pegoretti out there is. So if you have a pretty svelte pegoretti or anything under 18lbs let's see it.

I'll start it off with my older duende pegoretti now cruising the roads in the UK somewhere I believe I got it down to about 16.8lbs

Thge build was dura ace 9000 groupset
reynolds carbon tubulars wheels 1350 grams with vittoria corsa cx tubulars 23
zero gravity ti brakes with reynolds blue pads 190 grams
thomson seatpost and thomson 130 stem
3t ltd carbon bars 200 grams
selle san marco regale saddle 250 grams

Hoping to get the love 3 down lighter. Image

Check my signature. It comes down to 7.21kg with my lo-pro carbon wheels, not bad for a 58cm-ish frame.

Wow, both of those are pretty slick bikes. You two seem to be on the tall side!

I have a pal with a baby blue Al Pegoretti. I'll have to ask him the weight.

No Peg will be a WW but this is not the point :D This one of mine was around 7.8kg with the Hyperon IIRC. Frame was 2kg (60cm and quite a bit of paint on it!), the Falz for is around 450g.

Wow that's a light peg. I'm thinking I can get mine down in that range. Any clearer pictures and can you give some details of your build.
Thanks

I'd reckon the lightest peg build will be a Love #3 given the frame is a fair bit lighter than the steel alternatives.

We do need some biggeer pics though wangsanegara !

Hi Bantamben,

Basically, I built the Pego with Campagnolo Super Record, except I use Rotor Crank.
- Deda Stem
- Deda Pressa Carbon Handlebar with Fizik Bartape
- Fizik Anatares Saddle
- FIzik Cyrano Carbon Seatpost
- Enve 3.4 Wheelset with Conti Competition Tubular
- Speedplay Zero Stainless Pedal
- Bottlecages are Arundel Mandible
- Custom made Garmin Up-front Holder
* Recently I added Quarq power meter on the Bike.

I attach Link to a clearer picture. Hope this works.

I got a friend who got a Pego, and built it to 6.4kg. I will try to snap picture of his bike when I got a chance.
