Really nice respo. Small compared to mine which is a size 60. I got my peg love 3 hanging in the garage right now waiting to build up just waiting for cranks etc.. In the mail. I've been going campy for years but I'm gonna try sram force with a red crank on this one. 11-32 wifli I'd like to get it to 6800
Frame weight is 1580 grams I believe.

This is the guy I'm talking about.
He has one of the greatest Pego built I ever seen.
Andreas
I would like more of this orange on the frame but this is a great bike. Respect!
Sorry you're wrong. This is bike perfect down to the headset matching the saddle clamp.
Hmm maybe a little deeper drop handlebars
No really, it's perfect.

A lot of non-Italian wheels in these shots, that's cool but I've got my head all wrapped around having Italian wheels on my Pegoretti Duende.
My Duende is currently being upgraded from carbon Chorus 10 to Super Record RS. The old generation Zonda wheelset on it has served well but they aren't at the same level as the groupset so I'm itching to upgrade.
I want light medium-high-profile carbon clincher (Zipp 404 style) but I'm stuck thinking I want an Italian brand and Campy/Fulcrum doesn't make such a wheelset. There isn't much else available in the USA... Ursus sells on Amazon direct, but I can't find a lot of opinions on them, and the models they're selling are older than the models currently on their web site (e.g. they sell the CK58 in the US but the current model is a C50).
Fulcrum announced a barely medium-profile carbon Racing Zero today but it will probably be months before it's available.
Thoughts? Should I give up on the Italian-brand wheelset?

Pic with the current Zonda wheels and the new Super Record RS. Weight is 7.89kg with pedals & bottle cage.
The wheels as I mentioned in the previous post, are due for upgrade. Pegoretti FALZ fork is on order also.
Groupset: Campagnolo Super Record RS 50-34, SR 11-25 cassette, SR BB cups
Bars: 3T Rotundo Team carbon
Stem: 3T Team alloy
Seatpost: Thomson Masterpiece offset (with shim since no one makes an offset post that fits the Duende)
Seat: Selle Italia SLR Superflow 145 (195g)
Tires: Vittoria Open Corsa Evo CX II
Tubes: Vittoria Latex front, Continental Race Lite rear

My 58cm Duende in Manovella - 7.62kg (16.76lb)
Carbon tub wheels should get it below 16lb, but I don't yet feel the need.
Super Record, hand built DT 240, Archetype, cx-ray wheels with 25mm Corsa sc's, Zipp bar/stem, 3T Dorico LTD post, EE brakes, Ti Speedplays and the biggest grin on my face whenever I ride it.
