Anyone own one of the current designs and ever weighed it stock?
I'm talking about the one with the curved tt which looks like an allez.
I've got a foil and an addict as my road bikes so weight is a priority for me .
I tried a 24lb steel fixie , got hooked, and am looking for a light fixed/ss commuter.

Can't find it anywhere. Only the old pre2012 one which weighed 19-20lbs.

Deciding between this and a felt tk3 which is rated at 17.5 lbs from felt themselves.

Get the felt and put your favourite road drops on it. Way more fun and responsive than a wangster. I'm riding an EAI bare knuckle and have the weight down to 17lbs

Haha wangster.
What don't u like about it? Too much like a road bike?
I don't mind that cause I just wanna commute fast on it. Just don't want it to weigh 20lbs+!!

Felt TK3 has a reputation of breaking if you use it on the street.

Wanna know a secret? You'll commute just as fast on a 24lb fixed gear as you would a 18lb one

What reputation of breaking???? And yea just my personal taste the langster is just a boring bike. Other great options are argon 18 electron and giant omnium.

Had a 24lb Raleigh rush hour and sold it cause it started to cause me knee pain. I did commute almost as fast on it but the constant power needed to accelerate it to 30+kmh took its toll. All my rides I try to avg 30. It's like a mental threshold for me.
Don't think I can break a tk3 as I'm only 137lbs.
The electron is nice and well priced but it's just that I am in between sizes on it and I need a drilled fork since the stock one isn't drilled.
