New saddle. Accounting for padding?

I just switched from an Fizik Arione WingFlex to a Tune Speedneedle. The distance from center of the rails to bottom of the shell appears to be about the same for both. However, the Fizik has about 20 to 25mm of extra stack from the padding. How should I account for padding stack in the initial adjustment of my post since it is squished down when riding?
Put on wind trainer, adjust incrementally until fit is perfect.

Fair enough. I expected to have to do this anyway, just wanted a good starting point.

I've got a few Fizik Aliantes, and the padding in them isn't even the same. Strangely enough, my ass has become a calibrated micrometer.

In case anyone else runs into this- raising the seat post about half the thickness of the former padding thickness turned out to be about right.
