Just a year after their latest version, they've already launched a 2015 version that features quite a few updates over the last version.
Apparently they shaved about 200 grams off the frame, so a 53 weighs just about 900 grams. There's more sloping going on in the toptube, that has also been slimmed. The aero seatpost has been exchanged for a 27,2 mm round one. BB30 exchanged for PF386.
Can't really figure out whether I like it or not. I'm on my 3rd Orca, 2x pre 2010 versions, and currently on the pre 2014 version, and I've always loved the design.
One of the reasons why I changed the Orbeas last time was because the chainstays were not wide enough to accomodate the new wider rims - the rims would hit the chainstays. This wasn't an issue with the versions after 2010, but it looks as though they have beefed them up once again, not leaving that much room.

They' ve ruined a nice looking frame IMHO.
i am not a canyon-lover, and dont understand the hype about those bikes-but the canyon looks much better than this orbea!
Nothing wrong with how it looks, but it just looks like any other bike now. I feel it has lost its identity. And with so many different bikes out there it needs to stand out. It is now lighter but still much heavier than a lot of bikes in its category, it is no longer playing the semi-aero card, and now it looks boring too.

Just ordered 55cm Orca M20. Pink - Blue one.
Will rebuild it with 2015 Campagnolo Chorus and 27mm wide Chinese carbon clinchers.
I wonder if there is anyone with 55cm 2015 Orca. All photos I found on internet are size 53 I want to see how bike will look before the build...

I can't compare it with the top frames I'm afraid. I only have limited experience on Dogma 60.1 but not enough for comparing.
So here is what I felt on my first 40km ride;
Really nice geometry. Feels quick but not unstable. Not twisty definitely.
Still I felt confident on it on descents.
Really, really comfortable.
I was quite tired this morning so I can't say how fast it is, but on my small efforts it gave what I asked for.
I didn't feel any flexing whatsoever.
This is the OMP frame, lower level of Orca.
Frame, fork (uncut), headset bearings, seatpost clamp, derailleur hanger, cable liners and bottle cage bolts weighted 1620grams for size 55.
OMR frame must weight 200-250 grams less than this.
All bike as seen on photo is 7110 grams.
Easton EC90 SLX3 bars
Kalloy Uno stem
Hongfu seatpost (180grams)
Selle Italia C64 saddle
Rae Carbon Clinchers (1500 grams), Sworks Turbo tubes and Sworks Turbo Cotton clincher tires plus Campy QR's
Campy Chorus 2015 group (52/36 crank and 12/27 cassette)
Time xpresso 10 pedals
Zipp Alumina SL cages
