I waited as long as I could, but Praxis was just too late for me.
Same for me.
Contacted several times PW when it would be released but only short answer was "we dont know".
Then release was delayed with no real date again, more than once.
One day pictures totally were removed from website, totally silently. A week later also info totally disappeared and again silently.
Another perfect example how shitty the cycling industry is.
They can't organize and can't proper communicate.
They underestimate the importance of communication and never heard of business strategy.
Apparantly the thing is too heavy and therefore they deliberately not mention weight.
Besides that there is a total lack on buying/shipping info/costs/options.
I support small companies but when they don't have the basic things just covered people should not want to do business.
Too much stupidity. I lost my trust. . . .

So no info on what it weighs?
I should have some in the next day or so and will definitely put one on the scale, but I wouldn't expect it to vary much from the Shimano version.
Shimano version for PF30 is 147 grams, Shimano version for BB30 is 128 grams. I've tuned them down quite a bit further than that though.

Now there is an idea, I might make the Di2 holes a little bigger, so I can at least fit the junction box through one of them.madcow wrote:I've tuned them down quite a bit further than that though.
Just days ago the Praxis website showed that the Campagnolo BB was delayed again with no estimate on availability, now they're available. Odd.

Oh, and I will likely be trying this solution since my Ridley X-Fire bottom bracket creaks with Parlee cups and a 10 speed Chorus Ultra Torque crankset.

We received our Campag Praxis bb's today and the weight is 97 grams for PF30 and 80 grams for BB30. That should be pretty much in line with the Shimano version once you adjust for these not having the bearings in them.

FWIW my experience with the Campy BB30 cups in a Cannondale has been just fine. Almost 4 years now with no issues whatsoever.
The problems I have read of are with the PF30 cups, and certainly if I was doing up a PF30 frame for UT I'd be considering the Praxis.
And I've seen a fair number of threads where people fail to differentiate between the 2.
Also FWIW, the Campy BB30 cups weigh in at 52g, so the Praxis solution only adds a few grams if that's the way you want to go.

There's sometimes a buggy.
How many drivers does a buggy have?
One.
So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...
and if you fix your attitude you can ride along with me.
