Hey, y'all. New to this BBRight thing. What's the best crank for an upgrade? Rotor is the obvious choice, but I've heard that 386Evo cranks will fit, which opens a few options.

If you are looking for 30mm spindle crank, just avoid these in BB30 standard (spindle isn't long enough) and you will be fine. 386evo is OK.

Thanks for the reply.....so 386 is good. I guess I could also get am adapter to run Hollowtech II cranks. Is PF30 long enough?

I am not so sure what you mean by "PF30 long enough".
If you are asking whether it is possible to use HT2 on BBright, yes you can go that way as well, of course, as you mentioned with appropriate adapter and you may need the washers to keep the NDS arm away from the chainstay.

The Rotor crank is pretty nice, actually (goofy graphics aside). I like the SRM, too...

I run a DA9000 crank with rotor adapters. Simply the best crank ever

Am I correct in saying that either the Rotor 3D or 3D plus will work with BBRight, but the 3DF is a 24mm spindle that would not work?

All Rotor cranks can work. Only a matter of the right bearing kit.

Also, 3DF (Now 3D30) has a 30mm spindle. (Hence the name) 3D+ has the same type spindle whereas the 3D (now 3D24) has a 24mm spindle. (Again, hence the name) 8)

The new 3D+ is nice and quite light. Also the new graphics is much better than before and not slightly goofy imo.
