Hmmmm. Pinarello has been using a similar fork shape on its Opera Super Leonardo for the past few years:

It looks like a lot of thought was put into this bike. I still prefer the swanky 65.1, but this F8 looks more business and less flamboyant.

LONG LIVE THE ITALIAN THREADED BOTTOM BRACKET! :D

At first I didn't like the new Dogma F8, but it is starting to grow on me. I really love my 65.1 and the folks that are wondering why Pinarello is so good, I can say that the ride quality is brilliant. If it wasn't Team sky would have chosen another bike.
I also have an Tarmac S-works sl4 that is much lighter, but also more nervous and firm. I light bike doesn't mean a good riding bike automatically.
The 65.1 was more Pinarello. It was something different. The F8 is a better bike, but when you put a Canyon decal on it, people would believe it was a Canyon. I also don't like the seatstays below the toptube. A lot of aero bike have it, but i don't like it.
Maybe the most beautiful bike at the moment is the Colnago C60.

The other positive of this release is that the 65.1 dogmas will go into deeper discount (one can hope) :D

If you go on the Pinarello site, in some of the photos of the different color schemes, the bike is wearing the new Super Record gruppo.

Looks better than expected, but still funny lookin'.

Well I just got pricing through from our local dealer and the frame set is an extra A$2000 over the 65.1 T2. Don't believe I can justify the extra costs, bugger. I thought the 65.1 was crazy money...............

This makes me wish I had held off on getting my Dogma 65.1 two months ago. I am really enjoying the 65.1, love the ride, beautiful bike. But if I had known the F8 was right around the corner, I may have waited. Oh, well! Maybe sell my 65.1 frameset on eBay in order to eventually upgrade to an F8.

Hopefully Pinarello will keep the 65.1 as their "regular" frameset and the F8 as their "aero" frameset. Similar to Cervelo having the R5 and S5, or Specialized having the Tarmac and Venge.

They are reintroducing it with a lower grade carbon as the new Prince.

? so, the new name will be like Dogma 48.1 think2?
I doubt it.

I think Dogma 65.1 will be there as a cheaper option of F8.
They already discontinued Paris....Prince is still in the range.

If you want to be the first adopter of the F8, you have to pay for it. :-) I still love my 65.1

No one that I know of (other than Team Sky) has ridden one. I wonder if the added stiffness would give the F8 a harsher (but faster) ride. Might not be the most comfortable ride compared to my 65.1. I am trying to talk myself out of wanting one so bad.

In this case Pinarello was prepared for the demand. While it took some time for me to actually see the 65.1, i have already seen the F8 being assembled by my LBS in Brazil. Other online retailers have also published close-up photos (not Pinarello supplied material). There are definitely people out there with this frame. Actual ride reports will pop-up sooner rather than later.
