Testing for the first round of handlebars is finished and can be viewed at Bike Rumor: http://www.bikerumor.com/2014/05/23/how ... andlebars/

And if you missed it the matching stem testing results were posted here: http://fairwheelbikes.com/c/forums/topi ... -review-3/

We're currently in the middle of testing a ton of mtb bars and then we'll go back to do another round of stem and handlebar testing so if anyone has suggestions on bars or stems they'd like to see tested please feel free to post them and we'll try to add them to the next round.

Great work again madcow, very informative. Any word on whether schmolke are going to do a compact version of the fullover with shorter drop and some flare? Now that would be a great bar.

I believe the Enve Aero indeed is the same bar tested.. the description matches anyways.. it's extremely flared in my opinion, I have the 42 that measures 37 on top...even the 44 only goes 38ish on top. Not sure I'm in love with it yet. I just got a Zipp ContourSL SS to give a go around.

I love seeing these tests.

I think this is a typo in the Notes about the loads tested section:

"The actual load doesn’t matter because the response of the structure is linear. That is, a handlebar that deflects 5mm under a 25-lb load will deflect 7.5 mm under a 75-lb load, 10 mm under a 100-lb load and so forth."

I think you left off the "2."

@madcow,

Nice, thanks for sharing

I'm suggesting to include the following:

Easton SLX EC90 bars, sub 200 gr (non aero version)

Cheers.

good first effort but the test should be rated on type(aero/ergo/round)/price/stiffness..

e.g

i am currently looking for a set of aero road bars.

specialized aerofly $220USD 250gm
bontrager xxx aero $359USD 230gm
zipp aerocl70 $350USD 240gm
enve aero $400USD 250gm

all these bars are made is asian factories but the enve is almost 2x the price of the spec. is the aero that good. stiffness ? comfort?
