Spacers..?
Moderator: robbosmans
I have bought two batches of carbon spacers and they are such a crappy product. For one, do they really need to be 3.2mm thick (and "heavy"..)? The 5mm spacer I have on top of the stem end up sticking far outside the top cap. The carbon steerer is only 2.5mm thick (Scott).
Second, they are so inaccurately cut. In one batch, the 10mm one was 12.25mm. Others were cut so crooked I can't use them without sanding them straight, and I am not sure that's worth the trouble, instead of just trying to find some that are well made.
I have bought two different batches, one from an Amazon seller, one from eBay. They were cheap, so it's not a big deal. Does anyone know where some well made ones can be found?

Probably in a shop. Big brands want their customers to have good spacers.
If you want to see 'meh' content of me and my bike you can follow my life in pictures here!'Tape was made to wrap your GF's gifts, NOT hold a freakin tire on.'

These are light, and about ½ the thickness of "traditional" spacers I've had. They are only sold as a set, and you can't mix 'n match with other brands either, due to their relative thinness to other spacers.
Out of stock at CRC, but they are around if you look.

you almost have to see them to make sure they are what they say they are. the cheap ones are just trimmed tubes. i'm using the Extralite Delrin spacers. got them from FWB.
