Has anyone done this? I know Carbolift is the way to go, but I was mainly interested in what kind of finish is underneath. It is the HMF NET frame.

It's highly likely that there's plenty of "not pretty" filler around the bottom bracket and heat tube junctions. If you're thinking of just having a nude frame, it won't be "pretty".

I remember seeing a picture of this on a frame being sold on ebay a while ago. It didn't look pretty. Can't find the posting though.
