I have a SL3 [factory Di2] and the wires were run externally. I had to modify the frame to run the wires internally.

There are two fittings so you can mount the battery at the front of the down tube. On the frames that are not Di2, there are no fittings.

My concern was if there are holes already in place to run internal wires. As far as the battery, I can place that in the seatpost nice and neat. Thank you for your help.

With all the research I did [to drill holes and what not], I never found any pictures of a factory SL3 with internal wires of any kind. There were some HTC SL3 frames on eBay that had no cable stops and designed for the Di2 system. I never was able to find close up pictures on how the cables were routed.
