chip in carbon fork brake hole

Did this when installing brake caliper last night.......Am I going to die?

I see white paint under the chip, looks like the black layer was put on after the fork was painted? The yellow discoloration around the hole is the clear coat I put on.


Wish I never went to the garage last night. :|

It'll be fine. Put a thin dab of clear nail polish on it if you feel a need to do something. Not a glob as that could interfere with the brake bolt.

I have drilled out the mounting hole in a carbon fork with no problem (they're two diameters and the large diameter part was about 5mm too long for the brake mounting bolt). CF isn't glass.
