Hi, newbie here ,(long time lurker, first time poster)...
I am looking at having a pair of wheels built and have been recommended the AIVEE SR5 hubs - does anyone have any experience of these? I've searched but can find very little information other than they are French made and reasonably light and affordable. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

We actually had Aivee send us a set of the SR5s to ride as a demo set. I've only had a chance to ride them once but so far they seem to roll up smooth. I'll repost once I have a chance to log some real miles.

That would be much appreciated. Proposed build is Archetypes and CX Ray spokes. Total weight is 1551g not super light but should be a smooth ride for a 1000 mile ride I am planning over 9 days later this year. Alternative build that has been suggested is with Dura Ace hubs, this would be slightly more expensive but includes the DA QRs in the price. Would be interested in any views as to which would be the better option.
