I am upgrading to di2 10speed from ultegra, staying with 10 speed because 10speed junior cassettes are much more common in wheel vans than 11 speed junior cassettes.
I was originally planning on buying DA 7970 from a friend, but now i am considering buying 6770 because of the e-tube system, and reformed tech. I will only be buying FD,RD,shifters, battery etc., no brakes (i have cnc brakes), or crank (pmeter). what do you guys think? I think 6770 is heavier than 7970, besides that i dont know...

ultegra 6770 vs DA 7970

Go 6770, although DA7970 is a bit better/lighter (in fact I believe it's even more reliable than the new 9070) in time you will only need a 6870 rear mech chain and 11v cogset to "upgrade".
The four wire protocol of the 7970 will die a slow death and parts/cables will become more expense/harder to obtain in the near future.

Wisdom. Get the internal battery and etube software as well.
