I have a '12 Cannondale Supersix 4 with SRAM Force BB30 crankset.
Yesterday I lubed my BB30 bearings, cleaned everything, applied some clean grease and assembled the crankset.
Today I took my bike for a spin. At first I thought it's all in my head, but when I stopped to check, the crankset had a pretty big lateral play.

The hex screw seems to be bottomed out.
I have a metal bearing cover on the DS, which slides on the spindle

no spacers on the NDS

a bearing cover on the NDS

and a bearing without a cover on the DS

I am 99% certain that I didn't lose any spacer while cleaning it.
Am I doing something wrong or did I lose something?
Thanks for your help!

You are missing spacers and a wavy washer on the nds.

You're just missing shim washers. If u really want it spot on, determine the gap & spacers required using a feeler gauge (available at any tool or auto shop). btw, how do you lube a sealed cartridge bearing?

You need a wavy washer too. Not just the spacers.

Use a fine pointed tool to carefully get under and then gently pry up, then lift out the seal. Then clean and relube with whatever grease takes your fancy. The seal can be reinstalled by hand and fingernail with a bit of dexterity and pressure. Be carful not to damage the lip seal and it's hard to go wrong.

Yeap! That's exactly what I did.

Hmmm maybe I'll give that a try.
I've always treated them as remove & replace

Next time, read this : SRAM service manual
Came in really handy when I serviced my PF30 bottom bracket.
