Just picked up an Air Attack last Sunday and really like it so far. I've used it for two long rides, but both on chilly yet sunny days in the Northeast. That said, the ventilation seems good. I'm also switching from an Ionos and much prefer the aesthetics of the Air Attack. It's also much lighter.

For what it's worth, I was cautioned that the shields can fall off. (I did not purchase the shield model.)

I'm using a Specialized Prevail. Lightest I've come across and best fit for my head.

I have two Bontrager Oracles and love them. Very comfortable and quite light.

The Aeon is light... but the prolight is ungodly light.. might be discon already but I'm sure deals are out there.

The Bell Gage is good and only a tiny bit heavier than the Aeon. For me at least it was a better fit, the Aeon was a bit shallow and wide on my head.

There good options from all of the biggest manufacturers, it just depends which fits your head best.

Here's some real world weights.

Catlike Mixino (EN version, sz L and 240g) - mfg'd Mar 2014 ... pre-printed factory sticker inside says 230g meaning that it's probably without any padding

Speci Prevail (EN version, sz L and 230g) - mfg'd May 2011 ... pre-printed factory sticker inside says 224g without visor meaning that it's probably without any padding
