I have a Specialized Allez Race frame with an alloy OSBB. I'm putting a Ultegra 6800 crank on the frame and don't want to use an adapter. Will either of these BB's work or do I need to get something Specialized specific?

I've used the Praxis conversion bottom brackets with good success. There are two road versions BB30/PF30 and a the OSBB version that you'll need.

The delrin adapters are lighter but more of a hassle in my experience.

Weird I punched my postcode into their site and it misses out quite a few LBSes that I know stock Praxis products. The UK distributor, Upgrade, has always been helpful to me. I seriously would recommend finding a shop that does stock them.

Curious why those will not work when they are listed as the same dimensions.

A OSBB is 61mm wide. Any adapter that Wheels Mfg does needs two 3.5mm spacers to bring it up to the 68mm BB30/PF30. I'm not 100% certain their bottom brackets have that ability like their adapters.

You could always shoot them an email asking what exactly you'd need as their pages on the OSBB aren't working

This advice is incorrect.

Specialized in an effort to confuse have TWO OSBB types. The alloy version that OP has is conventional 68 x 42 BB30.

Personally I like the look of the Wheels adapter since it threads together.

Ah jeez, sorry completely skipped the first part of out my mind

Yeah the alloy shell is wider, the Praxis BB will still install without using the included sleeves.
