Title says it all. I'm looking for knickers without the pad. I like knee warmers when the weather is going to change during the ride, but I'd like something for the days when I need a little insulation over my knees and my junk yet a pair of full length tights would be too much. I suppose I could remove the pad from a pair or hem a pair of full length tights, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Boom! There are a lot of tights options but not a lot of knickers. But 7mesh just released these Strata Knickers as part of the Fall/Winter collection. It's part of a larger connective system but they say it works over any bib or short.

Looking for some extra warmth over my existing super thin bib shorts, but not as warm as tights.

You can get three quarter length bib tights with pads? Youre surely still going to have to wear bib shorts over them or under anyway, for the padding?
