Does anyone have any insight about when the new Shimano RC903PWR and XC903 shoes will be coming out? I checked around today and saw that Shimano has the shoes listed on their website, but they are not yet available to purchase.
https://bike.shimano.com/en-US/product/ ... 03PWR.html
https://bike.shimano.com/en-US/product/ ... XC903.html

On both of these product pages, both the "Model Year" and "Line Up Year" rows say 2025. Does this usually mean that the shoes will be coming out in the year 2025 or is this the model year 2025?

I looked around here on WW and couldn't find any post about this topic yet, so sorry in advance if this has already been discussed.

A single boa is usually made for use on the track that also has straps.

It seems that they changed the name of the track version that previously had the T

The XC903 will be released this spring, probably. Not sure about the PWR version.

I was curious about that. What would the benefits of using this on the road be versus the double boa RC903? The marketing says it's also good for TT specialists and sprinters. Are there really any tangible differences?

Like stated above, the single BOA is usually meant for track riders because the lower BOA would get in the way of toe straps. For TTs, it has been shown that laces are more aero than BOAs, so I would guess that one less BOA might be more aero, but you don't give up the adjustability of a BOA vs laces. I can't see any benefit for sprinters unless they mean track sprinters, which goes back to the toe straps.
