Affects all medium cage (WiFli) Red derailleurs from the 2013 model year. This news is a a couple of months old, but I just learned it while doing some research.

Something to look out for, if buying used.

Anyone know if this is the recalled derailleur?

It's for the WiFLi version. The one Nashbar seems to be the regular version.

Sram is the only company from the 3 which has more often changed the pivot bolt design of their road and MTB derailleurs within the last 10 years or so.
Ok that they have recognized that the pivot bolt is a part to save some weight.
They are mates here who are using the Sram Red even with a AFC Bike Delrin pivot bolt.
I wonder why only the WiFli models are recalled. :noidea:
Is the Sram pivot bolt such a weak design that it can not take the stronger loads via the longer cage in combination with larger casettes?
