Steady or flash-mode. Pretty decent light, viewed from any angle. Comes in white and red LEDs.
I was surprised how good and light these are for $3. Batteries are replaceable.
The little clip on the back can hook right onto a brake/shift cable. You can also use the included clip-eyelets. They are stick-on, and would probably work great on the back/side of a helmet.
