Somebody help me please!

I have searched, and searched and searched, but cannot find what I am looking for anywhere!!

I would like to buy some headset bearing top covers, the bit above the headset and beneath the stem.

My current covers on both my TCR's are nigh on 10mm and I want to go lower on the front.

If anyone has any idea where I can find said covers, PLEASE let me know.

I can find plenty of 1 1/8" covers, but these need to be 1 1/4".
Preferably 5mm or less.

Many thanks.

Hi,

Won't be an easy search, maybe canyon can help you out (ps. if the outer diameter is ok it wont be too hard to dremel the inside to 1 1/4")

Stoo, don't you need a headset cover going from 1 1/4 to 1 1/8?
Your forks tube and your stem are probably 1 1/8 ?
In any case something like this one?
Damn, omitted to save the link :x
Anyway , DiaCompe has a 1 1/4 headset cover.

Sorry was a bit confused, normally to lower a stem, you reduce spacers from under the stem and put them on top of the stem and reuse the top cap. Once you decide the stem height is correct you cut the steerer tube, getting rid of the spacers on top of the stem.

Lannes, yeah I know buddy :)
I have the stem as low as it will go and want to go lower.
Only option is to reduce the height of the headset cover.

I only want another 5mm or so.

Bura, Giants OD2 system is a 1 1/2" crown reducing to 1 1/4" at the stem.
I'll have a look at diacompe though. Thanks
