Good luck with that... The SL Sprint + SL-70 combination will leave you with scarcely more than a cm of usable space on either side...

I've always liked the shape of these bars but not too keen on the finish. Would light sanding be my only option to lose the decals?

I saw an adapter for sale on eBay. It was like $50 though.

That's the problem with aero bars...

...you're right, it's touching the pc8 mount where stem face plate is at it's most bulbous.

I think I'm just going to shave a little corner away from the pc8 mount (dremel) and see how it goes...

40cm zipp sl70 aero h'bars with zipp sl sprint stem and pc8 mount
Photo shows pc8 mount with clamp bolt loose, ...so as it cinches up it hits stem face plate and pushs the pc8 mount outwards

Never understood why there isn't 10mm more round section on this type of bar. Is saving .5w on a CFD model really worth the impact on practicality?

I had to mill the clamp band of my Sigma mount to about 60% of its original width for it to work on my Vuka Sprint.

Perhaps clamp width should be a more accessible spec just like stem stack.

on all/most stem manufacturers?

I haven't really looked. I can fit my K-Edged on mine with Zipp SL stem and there's no problem at all with room.

Ah, I thought you meant the usable clamp area of the bar. Zipp also has the clamp width of their stems, so  but Extralite doesn't (not that it would really matter with the 50mm clamp area of the Sprint bar, things are going to be tight no matter what). I've got the same setup as you and have plenty of room to spare, they fortunately widened the clamping area on the SL-70 Aero 20mm, though a light is still a tight squeeze.

Bar tape on the aero section kind of defeats the purpose. Then again, so does the light.

Anyone have any issues with their knees hitting or nearly these bars when out of the saddle?

Hello
Can I use clip on bars on zipp sl 70 aero?
For example, if I install the narrowest stem (for example, 3T ARX).
Can not be installed clip on only because the width of the diameter of 31.8 is too small?
Or are there other reasons?
Thank you.
