Not if you are in the UK and need custom (and cheaper) .. e.g I need it for my Madone which isnt listed on veloflyte website.

I paid more than 3 weeks ago and there is no sign of the dust cover.

I had a similar experience with veloflyte. Refused to answer emails, and I ended up having to claim back thru paypal... Was some time ago now... If u do a google on him u can see this has happened a bit, and he can be quite surly at times....

In the end of the day it is not that bad. My one arrived today.

Ps.
Have just fitted it, looks pretty good. 0.8g on my scale.

Hi all
Can someone confirm if all slamthatstem covers should come with the logo printed on it?
i bought one through one of the links from their website 'in cycle" in the USA
I haven't got around to installing it yet,
but i got it out and noticed it hasn't got any branding or symbols :noidea: .
Thanks

Hi,

I can confirm that doing business with Veloflyte is great. I'm from Belgium and ordered some low-height, low-weight dust covers from him and was great in communication and ordering/service.

I will buy again from him. His dust caps are great also: nice finish and perfectly as described.

Caps are blank. You only see what you've ordered: 3k, UD, etc...

Hey all,

I make the slamthatstem covers and have some left over from the last production run. Ryan of slam that stem no longer sells them on his site but i have put them up on mine.
http://www.schondsgn.com/products/slam- ... ring-cover

I have a couple hundred coming back from anodizing on monday. This might be my last run of these parts. All the covers are black with no logo now. Same covers as the first runs.

Email through the site if you have questions! Hope some of you can still use these!

Best,
-Ian

Do the STS dust covers come with micro-shims for adjusting similar to the cobb cycling ones? My understanding is they work perfect on cannondale but any other manufacturer is a wild west of compatibility issues.

I just found out that 'Reset racing' also started making low-profile bearing covers: http://r2-bike.com/reset-ahead-kappe-aluminium-farbig-15_2.

They're 2 grams heavier than the ones that Ian is making though.

Over the weekend, I reached out to VeloFlyte for a dust cover:

"I sold all remaining stock to a fellow in the U.K.. I no longer produce the veloflyte items."

I'm looking for a ~52mm OD dust cover for a IS47 top bearing with 1 1/8" inch fork. Clearance with bearing + centering ring/reducer: 4mm. Any ideas?
