Hi all, I have a colnago m10 2011 frame in sparkle red. I love the way it rides but I'm getting a lift tired of the integrated routing text and paint job in general and was thinking of giving it a facelift. Does anyone have any suggestions of paint schemes that would suit this frame.. Ie. Colnago pr00 or pr99.. can it be stripped back to the carbon weave and clear coated? Not sure if there is proper weave underneath the paint, I'm not really keen on any of the m10 paint schemes except the matte black with white text edition... cheers!

Usually there is no decorative weave, when it's not supposed to be seen. Can't comment on the Colnago or M10 in particular, though.

The PR99 and PR00 paint schemes are probably the most classy out there. The latter especially in combination with the outline typeface. Other timeless designs include "Saronni" red and "Milram" blue. Go for it and keep us posted!

Make it simple. As you said. Plain with white Graphics. Colnago logotyp in the front.

Can be done but very tricky proposition...especially the stripping process.

Looked into lots of options but the price was going to be expensive for a pro looking job with graphics.. My favourite idea was doing it like this

Nice. I have an extreme power that could do with a fresh coat.

I had an Extreme C in PR00 that I stripped the paint off and had it satin clearcoated. This was pre Colnago offering such a scheme.

Love it, wish the m10 had the carbon weave underneath

I haven't taken the paint off to have a look, I was told it wasn't a nice carbon twill all over so I didn't try.. Did you remove the paint from yours? Do you have any more pics of the finish?
