I have searched here and on the net generally and have not been able to find a bit of information for the Aspide Carbon FX + Open. What size are the rails? I am looking to buy a suitable post to go with the saddle.

Can someone help?

Cheers
The Bogan

I suspect your Aspide Open will be the same as my 2 Aspide FX Carbon (non open) saddles. The rails are 7x9.6mm.

Thanks for that. I actually sent the question to San Marco prior to your response. They have responded saying all San marco saddles with carbon rails, the rails are 7mm x 9.8mm.

For what it's worth, I have been using my carbon railed Aspide FX's with the Ritchey One Bolt Carbon seatpost with the 7x9.6mm Clamp Kit - works great...

Thanks. Good to know. The Ritchey one bolt is one of the posts I have had a look at. Very nice piece of kit. It is still a definitely a possibility.
