I removed my crank and noticed gulling on the non-drive side of the spindle. I'm wondering if anyone with this combo or anyone who has seen this before, knows why its happened? The drive side is unaffected.
Should I just reinstall and forget about it?

when i took mine off (both of them), i did not notice anything like you have pictured. did you try to clean it up? and did you check the bearings race? i have no idea what could have caused that.

Yes, I tried to clean it off. The area is not smooth, but rough.
The race of the bearing is fine.
