Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken

Those bugs will be fixed ASAP (next few days) as they are unfortunately more serious than expected.

If you find more errors please post it here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139062

Does anybody know if 25 tyres will have enough clearance? I'm thinking of Vitoria corsas or continental gp3000.

Thanks

In my CX-1 or a friends CLX and Arte they don't have enough clearance. THey scratch the frame :( I bought a set of 25mm GP4000s just to keep them in a box.

I've fit 27mm Vittoria Pave tubulars on my 56cm Colnago Extreme Power with acceptable room. 25mm should be fine.

My EPS on GP4000s 23c tyres have about 8~10mm clearance all round. 25c for a Continental tyre should be fine.
But as for Vittoria, may not be so as Conti tyres tend to run smaller than most of the other brands. My previous Pro3Race 23C and Ultremo were definitely bigger compared to my GP4000s in 23c.

My EP would clear the 27mm Vittoria tires, you will be fine. Those were even on Stan's Alpha rims, which are quite wide and make the tire even bigger.

FMB Paris Roubaix 25mm clears perfectly fine on my EPS.

Lots of clearance on my EP for 25mm tires...like B-lab states you may even get decent space with 27mm's also.

Remember there's a difference in fitting Tubulars and clinchers as Clinchers have a larger circumference for the same sized tyre, so a 27mm width tubular may fit where a 25mm clincher may not.

It fits, but it scratches the frame when you pass through some water/ sand etc.
So a 23 Michelin would be the best I could get I think.
A 25 tubular fits for sure :)
