Please recommend a set of compact rings for a Cannondale SL Hollowgram crankset to be used with Shimano 7900. Anyone know if 7900 rings will set in the spider OK (Shimano seems to have bit of an odd concave on the end of crankbolt arms). Thanks.

I second the Praxis rings, they're awesome!
I got them on my M3 cranks and they feel stiffer than the campag SR compacts they replaced
Very nice rings

Thanks for the input. I ended up ordering a set of Praxis. They really look good on the Hollowgrams and I know other people on WW have said good things about them.

I'm one of those "people on WW".
I love mine. Good luck with yours.

Thanks for that picture. Looks nice.
That's going to be my next set up-up
(a set of Hollowgrams with the Praxis Clover Ringset).

My Praxis compact rings weigh 122g, The FSA Super Type rings that were taken off weigh 146g

My ideal ringset for my Ultegra SL crankset would've been Shimano's Yumeya Dura-Ace set,
but they were out of production and I couldn't find them anywhere.
I got 127g for my 53/39 Praxis Standard Clover rings.
The Dura Ace 7800 Ringset I had on before came in
at 142g and the original Ultegra SL ringset is 140g.
(all on my Park Tool DS-2 Scale)
The SL set shifted smoother than DA, but the DA's felt noticeably stiffer.
The Praxis set is both smoother, stiffer & lighter than both.

My Praxis rings (53/39) in the clover style were 124g according to my scale
The Cannondale MkV compact rings weigh in at 106g including bolts, according to Dr Cannondale:

And they just LOOK light too, which has to be a bonus.
