I've been on my Aeroad (why does everyone mis-spell the name? Aerod, Aerorad, Aeroroad...) for quite a while now and I'm very happy. It's not as stiff as my Ultimate AL but I've never felt it lacking in stiffness, not in the saddle nor out of it.

Can't comment on ride qualities as I haven't tried either of them. As with the looks, the Dogmas are some of the ugliest bikes out there. Period!

Well, for your information I make living as designer and make good fortune out of it by designing stuff much more complicated than bikes.

Looks is subjective most people say. Yes agreed, it is...as is music, art and everything "creative". However, there are people who get paid to shape objects and have the "eye" to judge it and are deemed "sligthly" more competent than others on specific subjects or topics if you like. :smartass:

Listening to you, I guess I can be good at any job on this planet..

sorry for the off-topic to the rest of you.

TK421 I also teach architecture at the university so...
I am sure Dogma is designed by a designer as good and experienced as you. It is very well designed according to its concept although you may not like this kind of design and I respect that.

So in that "designer's" self described "slightly" more competent opinion on a type of product which he does not design, the Dogma is ugly.

In your expertise, please tell me if the new F1 cars are indeed ugly. My opinion isn't competent enough, not being a designer and all.
Long live the horizontal top tube, standard crankset, and Italian threaded bottom bracket.

I actually don't mind them… I considered a Dogma… but I liked the Look 695 more.

I know Canyon is lighter then Dogma.

What about stiffness and handling?
