Made for ASSOS exclusively by the team's tech partner, Ranking.

I'm racing for the conti Amore&Vita Team, and we have them Ranking as sponsors, and the model we use is the same one as the Assos. The helmet fits well on most of our guys, its well ventilated and its seriously, super light. Its around 180 grams per size S if remember correctly. Me and my team-mates are happy with the helmet!

Got that helmet (from Ekoi not Assos) myself and it fits me good enough. it is light!

Ekoi doesn't sell it anymore but you can find it on ebay.

I did try it but unluckily it was wrong size for my big head.

That Assos helmet looks a lot like my Ekoi Corsa SL helmet. I have since replaced it, but it was nice. Low profile (for my head), comfortable and very light. It did not however sit too securely on my head, and had a tendency to rotate a bit.

Great value for money, though.

Many of the examples posted actually strike me as a very similar Giro Aeon. Which is about 221g for M.

Zigmaster, actually my (european) Giro Aeon weight 19X gramms for size M, but the fit is totally different; as jo.k pointed out, the Ranking helmet tend to "rotate" on the head and dont sit firm.
Althought the new model used by Assos seems to have a different system on the back compared to the version I used.

My experience tells that while the new system is a tad lighter, it's actually a down-elmetgrade compering to the old one. its firmer, and braeks occasionally. I find the helmet as a good value, and if you can put your hands on one of the older fastening system, even better!
