Wish this came UD. Just bought the new AX lightness 31.8 stem. I prefer mcfk products as they've worked better for me.

Ugggh...that's just one more reason for me to replace my Ti post with their UD one.

been lurking on the mcfk website for a while for this....hopefully it will prove more reliable than the ax offerings...and way cheaper at 300 euros...:)

vaguely reminiscent of the NoRa design in some ways, which is/was a great custom (if uber-pricey) stem

That is one beautiful stem. Should be much stiffer than the AX with its Ritchey c260 clamp design. Still a bit too rich for my blood, though.

Hmmm, i might have to splurge if the ax proves to be flexy.

It comes in 6 or 17 (±).

I think it looks great, I like the design.

Looks really nice, and the weight is great, but the price is redonculous. Also, at that price the logo should be applied using a better process than just a sticker.

The UD seatposts are art. Can't wait to see how the stem looks.... which is to say it'll be quite nice.

Great to see a -17° version too (not that I'll go for such boutique components).
Interesting that there's a 70mm though, would have thought longer stems (no 120mm) would be more common with the target audience.

Annoying that this and the AX max out at 110 :(

Of all carbon stems, this one is definitely the best looking one in my opinion. Finish looks smooth. I'm not so sure about the faceplate system. I feel its inner surface should be rougher to reduce bolt torque, although the carbon clamp surface is probably rough enough to offer sufficient resistance against bar slip. It would be a good idea for MCFK to offer aftermarket anodized faceplates.

@Beebee30: The AX Rigid, their stem for Ø31.8 bars, goes to 120mm btw. Though especially when you ride 130mm stems, like myself, or even longer, few carbon stem are an option. Ritchey offers their SuperLogic Carbon stem in 130mm. Then again, my preference goes out to an aluminum stem.
