I'm pretty new to turning my own wrenches and just switched out my Campy Record cables this past fall by myself for the first time. I opted for the clean look of no in-line adjusters and my shifting is excellent. If I can do it, anyone can. I had to pull and refasten the cables a couple of times as things stretched but no big deal.
