Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone else has an order in for the new Felt F1 FRD? Mine should be coming around Feb some time?
Currently collecting bits to build it up.

Good stuff. How will you build it up? Got a build list?

Got my new ar1 on the 29th of dec. I imagine the f1 frd should be shipped out already. What does your local bike shop say? Also interested to hear the build.

It is going to be a bit of a frankenstein as I'm carrying stuff over from my old Planet X Nanolight...

I've got:

Rotor chainset
Planet X brakes
Ultegra 6700 10 speed rear and front mech
Ultegra 6700 shifters
Hong fu 50mm carbon rims on bikehubstore hubs and DT Swiss spokes
Fizik seatpost

That is it so far... not sure how I am going to steer it ;)

Are you sure that the f1 frd can take mechanical shifters? I know the ar frd was built just for electronic shifting. Might want to check on that first before ordering.

This is going to be a more expensive project than you anticipated since you will need electronic shifting

After speaking to Saddleback here in the UK I can confirm that the frame is electronic shifting specific... I best get saving!

I'm actually selling the stuff on ebay now to fund a new di2 gearset

Among other frames, Felt offers F1 Team and F FRD for 2014, there is no "F1 FRD"

So... Here I am now in April and I still don't have my bike. Any ideas if Felt have actually supplied any to the Uk? Saddleback are the wholesaler for my bike shop but he can't get any more info

My tip is contact Dave and maybe you can buy your F FRD directly from him. I'm sure Felt would have their own bike in stock. You might even get to choose a custom colour scheme.
