Hey folks,

I've a set of Dura-ace 36 spoke FH-7700 built with Campy Moskva rims. Sacrilegious inbred wheel set that rides like a dream. Any chance I can put an 11 speed cassette on? They came with a 9 speed cassette and I'm now running a 10 speed. 11 speeds would be great so I can avoid buying a new wheel set.

Only if you remove one of the cogs. 11 speed cassettes are simply too wide for your hub. You can still run 9000/6800 on those hubs just with 10 cogs instead of 11.

Or, you can buy a DA9000 36-hole hub, and swap it out (since you already have a Franken-wheel)!

Thanks guys, I was hoping to swap the Campy rims for a Velocity A23 as I'd like the wider rim and the Campy's have seen better days. But if I can't put an 11 speed cassette I might start looking to build a set with DA 9000 hubs.

Thanks again for the comments.
