And for the cost/quantity of their frames, I would expect that they would have a big enough profit margin for weighing each frame.

...for reference my 2013 R5 in 54cm weighs 760 grams (bare, no hardware of any type...which is how all weight weenies should weigh their bike). The weight referenced in above article for 2014, likely includes hardware (seat clamp, H2O bolts, hanger, cable guide).
