I have a steel winter bike on order. The frame is black. The components are black (Athena/Chorus mix). The wheels are black. The mudguards are black. The stem and seatpost are black. I think you get the picture......

Anyway, I can't decide between a black Chris King headset, or being a bit crazy (!) and ordering a pink one.

Any pictures for inspiration? Any views?

lots of people do the all black with pink king headset... maybe consider green or something else less common?

Think I would regret another colour. It's pink or black. Agree that the whole 'Rapha' pink and black thing has been done before, but I kind of like it. After many years of only black King components, I feel like a change, but think I might just want black after about a month!

I'd def. choose black. Go all the way, and murder that thing. You can't go wrong with that!

How about full black and a red ano headset? That would look sharp.

A friend, who is a Rapha ambassador, rides a custom alchemy steel frame in black with a king pink headset and. Pink bar tape. Looks really sharp!

Black with just the top part (not the top cap, the part right below the stem) in pink. It's the best of both worlds, it's a bit more subtle and a little custom as you went out of your way with the custom programme to get it... Pink without being gaudy.

...and maybe a pink top cap bolt for the black top cap. Or atleast a black one.

Silver anodised, plus I also like DMF's idea of silver on top and black for the rest.

Sort of back to original - silver for aluminium parts, natural titanium, black carbon, and well any colour for steel.
Less is more.
