Anybody own one?

I am interested in a Sportif Classic as an all weather bike. I want something quite classic looking in steel with mudguard eyelets, 1, 1/8 forks and a racy geometry.

They aren't cheap, but are they any good?

What's the build quality and ride quality like? Some pictures make the welds look quite clumsy.

Anything else out there that you have bought having consdered one?

I've only seen and heard good things about them (lugged models)...a bit more timeless than the current plastic frames about atm...

I have one of the Road Racers -

Great Bike, extremely responsive, clean welds, really happy with how it handles.

Looks more like this now.. Swapped the steel forks for carbon and ditched the Honjo fenders (too long, too fragile)

DOV nice ride!

The road racer indeed looks mad sweet, but damn that is an expensive frame.
Understand since it is made in the USA.
For this price you can get on a titanium Lynskey. (shameless plug since I ride one)

I am currently building a Cielo Sportive Racer in Oyster color, with limited turquise parts. The finish of the frame is very good, but I have not ridden it yet.
